  • What will a day of camp be like?

  • How old does my child need to be in order to attend camp at GGA?
    • All children ages 3-12 can participate in our camps.

 

  • Can my child attend camp if he/she is not enrolled in classes at GGA?
    • Absolutely! Once you have created an account on the Parent Portal, you can easily register your child for camps, classes, and special events.

 

  • I tried to register my child for camp online and received an email that he/she was put on the Waitlist. What does that mean?
    • In order to make sure camp is a success for both the campers and staff, we maintain small student:teacher ratios. If the camp fills up, we will do our best to try and open it to more students by securing an additional teacher, however it is not a guarantee that your child will make it off the waitlist.

 

  • What if my child has been put on the Waitlist for a camp, how will I find out if he/she gets a spot in the camp?
    • The Front Desk staff will contact you to let you know we can enroll your child in the camp. You will not be charged for the camp until you are enrolled.

 

  • What will my child do while at camp?
    • At Gemini Gymnastics, we create a structured activity schedule that includes gymnastics, organized games, arts & crafts, trampoline, and above all-HAVING FUN!

 

  • Can I request that my child be grouped with his/her friends or siblings?
    • We will do our best to accommodate friend or sibling requests, however we cannot guarantee them. We typically arrange the camp groups based on age and number of campers.

 

  • What should my child wear?
    • Campers should wear a leotard/ninja shirt or tighter fitting tops and shorts/pants. We ask that hair is pulled back and students are barefoot.

 

  • What should my child bring to camp?
    • Please bring a LABELED water bottle & a nut-free snack. If your child has forgotten his/her snack, we have concessions which we will offer them and charge it to your account. If your child is attending the full-day camp, please send a lunch with them.

 

  • My child is attending a full-day camp, what will they eat for lunch?
    • Please send a LABELED water bottle & a nut-free snack. If your child has forgotten his/her snack, we have concessions which we can charge to your account. If your child is attending the full-day camp, please send a lunch with them.

 

  • When is payment due?
    • Payment is due upon registration. Any questions about payments should be directed to the Front Desk.

 

  • What if my child absolutely falls in love with camp and wants to come back the next day?
    • You can enroll your child online through the parent portal or contact the front desk. If we do not have space, we are happy to put your child on the Waitlist.

 

  • Can I walk-in and register my child the morning of camp?
    • As long as there is space in that camp, we will be able to add your child to the roster. It is best to call us at 708-352-2977 to make sure there is space for that day or check online on the Parent Portal.

 

  • What if my child is sick the day of camp? Will I receive a refund?
    • If there is space in a different day of camp that we can reschedule your child for, we will make every effort to do so. If your child cannot make up the camp day, we can apply a credit to your Gemini account that can be applied on future classes, camps, or other purchases.

 

  • What if I want to enroll multiple children in camp, do you offer sibling discounts?
    • Yes, we automatically apply Sibling discounts of 10% upon registration.

 

  • What if my child has class on a camp day?
    • With our unlimited make-up policy, we are happy to schedule your child for another day of class if it conflicts with his/her camp day.

 

  • What if I have to pick up my child early? Or drop my child off late?
    • We understand that sometimes you have conflicts with the start/end time of camp. We will start and end camps promptly, however Gemini staff will assist your child in getting to  class if you arrive late. If you need to pick your child up early, tell the Front Desk and/or camp coaches and we will make sure your child is ready on time.

 

  • What if I am running late to pick my child up from camp?
    • Please call the Front Desk at 708-352-2977 so that we can inform your child. We offer “After Care” services for an additional cost. Families that are running more than 15 minutes late will be charged the “After Care” fee of $20/child.

 

  • I need to drop my kids off at two different places at the same time that camp starts, can I drop my child off at Gemini early?
    • Absolutely! We offer FREE “Before Care” services beginning at 8:30am. Please register on the Parent Portal for the corresponding days that you will be dropping your kids off early so we can plan accordingly.

 

  • I would love for my kids to participate in the full day schedule, but unfortunately, I cannot pick them up at time that camp gets out. Can I pick my child up late?
    • We offer After Care services from 3:30-5:00pm. The cost for After Care is $20/day with a 10% sibling discount. Please register on the Parent Portal for the corresponding days that you will be dropping your kids off early so we can plan accordingly.
