Gemini Gymnastics Academy Rules & Policies
At Gemini Gymnastics Academy (GGA), we are determined to provide all children with high quality gymnastics instruction. Their relationship with us will help them develop character as well as gymnastics skills. The success of Gemini Gymnastics Academy will be measured in the children whose lives we touch.
The following rules and policies have been put in place to ensure that every child gets the best experience while at Gemini Gymnastics Academy. Though they are written, there may be additional rules and policies that each child will be asked to follow within the context of class. In addition, these rules and polices may be amended from time to time and we will alert you of changes via email.

A 20% discount will be taken when more than one class is taken per week by the same student. If your second + child is enrolled in multiple classes, the greatest discount amount will be taken.
Dress Code – Safety is our highest priority. GGA reserves the right to deny any student admission to class if they are not dressed per our Dress Code.
- Girls must wear a LEOTARD or BIKETARD for class. NO shorts, t-shirts, footed tights or sweatshirts permitted in class. Snug fitting bike shorts worn over a leotard will be the only exception to the shorts rule.
- Girls must have their have their hair pulled back out of the face. Even short hairstyles need to be pulled back so the eyes are not obstructed.
- NO jewelry is allowed with the exception of stud earrings.
- Boys must wear a snug fitting T-shirt and shorts or warm-up pants of APPROPRIATE LENGTH with an ELASTIC WAISTBAND. NO buttons, snaps or zippers permitted.

- NO gum or candy is allowed in the gym
Make-Up Classes: Just like college, your tuition pays for a class spot, REGARDLESS OF ATTENDANCE. However, as a courtesy we offer make-up classes. If you know you will be absent please contact us immediately to schedule a make up class within the session that you have missed class. Make- ups must be scheduled with the front desk via phone or email. A make-up class is considered scheduled when you receive a confirmation call/email unless scheduled in person. This ensures GGA’s low student/teacher ratio. If you need to reschedule your make-up class 24 hours’ notice is required. Make-ups must be completed within the session that the class was missed. Missed make-up classes will not be rescheduled. In the event that there are no open classes to schedule a make-up during the session, GGA reserves the right to provide you with 2 Open Gym passes in replacement of a make-up class. GGA does not refund, prorate or credit tuition due to absences.
Changing Class Day/Time: We will gladly accommodate class change requests as long as a vacancy exists.
Move Up Procedure: Students that are Twinklers, Sparklers, Super Stars and Super Novas remain in the same level class for the entirety of the school year. GGA follows USA Gymnastics’ guidelines and keeps students together with their peers by age/grade level, just as schools do. Students in 1st grade and up move from level to level by ability. When your child is proficient in the skills of their current level and ready to move up, you will be contacted directly by the front desk.
Drop Policy: Most families at Gemini prefer to remain enrolled throughout the school year. Therefore, we reserve spots for students at their current day and time in all of the rolling sessions of the school year to ensure that the schedules of our families are not disrupted. Because of this, and our commitment to small class sizes, you must email us 30 days prior to the end of the session if you plan on canceling your child’s enrollment or take a session off. If we do not receive email notification, your child will be automatically enrolled in the next rolling session and you will be responsible for paying the tuition charges for the upcoming session. If we receive notification, we can fill the vacancy left by your child. Please appreciate that many class days and times have more demand than we can meet, given our commitment to keeping the student to teacher ratio low. Since it’s inception GGA has operated upon the philosophy that good will is more important than dollars. It is not our philosophy nor our motive to “lock” people into classes they do not want nor receive payment for services not provided. Our motive is to create simple procedures that provide us adequate notice so we can fill vacated class spots. If you forget or miss the 30 day mark, PLEASE CONTACT US AS SOON AS YOU REALIZE YOUR MISTAKE. We promise to be reasonable and will make every effort to be flexible just like we have always been with make-ups and other procedures.
Refund Policy: NO REFUND OR CREDITS FOR DROPPED OR MISSED CLASSES. Gemini is committed to keeping class sizes small. Because of this commitment, a student enrolled in a class often prohibits other students from enrolling in that class. Therefore, once a session has started, no refunds will be given if a student withdraws from a class, with the exception of medical reasons. In such situations, we reserve the right to request a written acknowledgment from a licensed medical practitioner before we grant a refund. In which case, an in house credit will be given from the date we receive the written acknowledgment.
Class Cancellations: Classes require a minimum enrollment of 4 students to run. Classes that do not reach our minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation. In the event of severe weather where GGA determines that classes will not be held as a safety precaution for students and staff, we will do our best to alert you via email and Facebook posts. Our website will also be updated to reflect any severe weather closures. You may schedule a make-up class, within 4 weeks of the cancelled class, at your convenience with the front desk via phone or email. In the event that there are no open classes to schedule a make-up during the following 4 weeks, GGA reserves the right to provide you with 2 Open Gym passes in replacement of a make-up class. GGA does not refund, prorate or credit tuition due to absences/cancellations.
